The Children’s Healing Center is the first year-round recreation center for kids with weak immune systems. It’s a place where kids can learn and play in a clean and safe space. The Children’s Healing Center is a non-profit that has quickly grown to include a wide range of programs that emphasize research-based play, socialization and learning.

The Center is an 11,000 square foot complex that has the following programmatic elements:

• A large multipurpose room for flexible presentations and all-age activities.
• An Active Fitness room.
• An Art Room.
• An Exploratory Play space.
• A teen and young adult area.
• A dedicated space for caregivers.

An office area for the staff is included in the scope, and the site also allows areas of outdoor play on the property.
