The McFate Group is a design-build and construction management contractor servicing the Midwest and Texas. We have offered turnkey construction solutions and single source responsibility in this market for over 25 years. We specialize in producing commercial and industrial structures and provide a full scope of services in all phases of construction, from design and budget development to completion. Subsidiaries of The McFate Group include certified Butler Builder® and pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) contractor Engineered Buildings, Inc. (EBI) and structural steel fabricator Morkin and Sowards.
At The McFate Group, our goal is to provide our clients with a broad range of services, including self-performed trades. EBI works exclusively with Butler Manufacturing to supply and erect pre-engineered metal buildings. We (The McFate Group and EBI) are proud to be your local Butler Builder®, representing the world’s leading producer of building solutions. In 2022, EBI opened a branch in Montgomery, Texas. This location serves the Greater Houston area. Morkin and Sowards provides fabrication and metalworking services to the client base they’ve built up over the past 50 years as well as providing in-house services to EBI and The McFate Group.
